Mary Munsey
For over 20 years, Mary Munsey has been helping businesses improve organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency. Mary's education and experience in the areas of human resources, project management and organizational development have honed her natural ability to bring order to chaos. Over the years, Mary has applied her skills to both small and large companies in a range of industries, such as construction, airline, manufacturing, retail, and high-tech. She has also worked with many non-profits.
Recently, Mary has been focused on helping organizations reengineer administrative functions to measurably increase the bottom line through the implementation of time and money saving procedures. She learns the company's goals, reviews the existing administrative work-flow and internal processes being used to support operations, and collaborates with the staff to design and implement procedural changes, resulting in time and expense efficiencies.
In addition to reengineering administrative processes, Mary has also:
- Crafted human resource initiatives that align individual and team efforts with the company's goals.
- Designed and delivered customized training programs to support new processes.
- Designed and implemented Performance Management Systems to achieve peak performance and employee retention.
- Developed interview and hiring processes to effectively assess and place talent.
Mary has been a member of the Regis Mediation Project, a reader for the Blind and Dyslexic, a mentor for Kids at Risk, and has also been on the Board of Directors for various non-profit organizations. One of her current projects is the creation of the Denver Metro CASA Collaborative, where she has facilitated the effort of competing, nonprofit, metro agencies to work together.
Mary has a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management, as well as a Masters Degree in Project Management, both from Regis University.
