Scott Gilkeson
Scott Gilkeson is a user-centered technology consultant with 16 years experience in business and government environments. Scott is an innovative and practical technologist, that helps companies develop ideas, products and solutions that best meet their customers’ needs. A skilled problem-solver with a strong technical background, Scott has worked in the medical, intelligence, publishing, pharmaceutical, financial and high tech industries, guiding clients to realize the fullest potential of their technology investments and web resources.
Scott began his career as a software developer. While helping to develop HyperTies, a pre-Web hypertext system, he began focusing on the subject of usability. He is the author of many presentations and publications relating to usability engineering and user interface design. He is a member of the Special Interest Group on Computer Human Interactions and the Usability Professionals Organization.
Scott has both a Master of Science and a Bachelors in Science, both in Computer Science.
